A large bound volume with a manuscript annotation on the spine which reads ‘Father Senan & Father Gerald’. The volume contains photographs, newspaper clippings, and ephemera relating to Fr. Senan Moynihan OFM Cap. and Fr. Gerald McCann OFM Cap., editors at the Irish Capuchin Publications Office. It includes images of the sculptural busts of the two friars by Laurence Campbell (1911-2001) and some photographs of both attending various social gatherings. A biographical sketch of Fr. Senan published in the 'Connacht Sentinel' (4 Feb. 1941) is also extant in the volume. It also includes correspondence and ephemera relating to Fr. Senan’s membership of the Mark Twain Society in the United States. The volume is not paginated, and a good portion of the pages are blank.

The volume contains newspaper and magazine clippings, correspondence (particularly re loans of paintings), printed ephemera (exhibition catalogues), and photographs relating to prominent Irish artists, and exhibitions of their work. Many of these artists were associated with Fr. Senan Moynihan OFM Cap. and ‘The Capuchin Annual’. The volume includes:
• Clippings (obituaries) and photographs relating to the death of Albert Power (1881-1945). The photographs show Éamon de Valera, Fr. Senan Moynihan OFM Cap. and Fr. Gerald McCann OFM Cap. in attendance at Power’s funeral. The clippings include an appreciation by C.P. Curran. (‘Sunday Independent’, 15 July 1945).
• Photographic copies of artwork by various old masters.

The volume contains original letters and draft manuscript and typescript contributions and commentary re the ‘Orange Terror’ article by 'Ultach' (J.J. Campbel) published in ‘The Capuchin Annual’ (1943). The file includes letters from Bishop Daniel Mageean, George Noble Plunkett, J.J. Campbell, Eamon Donnelly, Senator David Robinson, Maud Gonne MacBride, Jack B. Yeats (refusing to contribute a commentary on the article), and Sir Shane Leslie.
