Letter from +Eugene O’Doherty, Bishop’s House, Newry, stating he received his letter and that Friday, 15th October will be the day of fasting. He also says they should pray for the success of the Synod of Bishops now in session. He believes there is no improvement in conditions here and looks as if the army authorities have definitely become an arm of the Government.
