Carrigan, William, 12 Portland Row, North Strand, Dublin. Senator Professor Hayes succeeded in having an Amendment passed to the Children Bill in the Senate. If passed in the Dail it will improve the lot of Industrial School Teachers. As it is non-political she wonders if + McQuaid might be able to see his way to intervene in their behalf by asking one of the Government party to speak in favour of the Amendment.
