Handwritten letter to Ardle from Paidric O [ill.] (Patrick Seery), St. Mary’s, Sandyford, regarding the Farrington family, Ticknock House. Dr. Farrington was Secretary o f the Royal Hibernian Academy. Mrs Farrington, nee Synge, is a niece of Millington Synge. Their son, Conor, is a promising actor. The family are professed Socialists and sympathetic to Soviet Russia. Dr. Farrington is a member of the Society of Friends and Mrs Farrington is a dedicated worker for the abolition of nuclear warfare. Farringtons do not try to influence Catholic parishioners. Mrs Oscar Leach, an English lady, is source of information.
