Letter from Mgr. Gerada to +McQuaid thanking him for ensuring the success of Mgr. Bafile’s visit to Ireland. He has learned that the new Nuncio will have a short stop at Shannon on 1 August. He will confirm the programme once the Nuncio has replied. Mgr. Gerada also informs him that he may be late for their appointment in Killiney the following evening when he plans on visiting with Mgr. Del Gallo. This is due to a circuit of motor races which is taking place and cause heavier traffic than usual.
