Typed letter to +McQuaid from T.O Raifeartaigh, Dept. of Education. The Department had agreed that the local contribution to the new Boys’ National School at Kilcoole should be one-eight of the cost. Since then it emerged that +McQuaid had £2,000 available for the new building. The Department is now asking that the contribution be raised to one-third.
