Typed draft agreed on at General Meeting regarding the Health Act: Mother & Child Service. The Hierarchy cannot approve of any scheme which must foster the undue control of the State in a sphere concerned with morals as that which deals with gynecology or obstetrics and with relations between doctor and patient. The Hierarchy outline seven points opposed to Catholic social teaching in this scheme.
