Circular letter regarding the Golden Jubilee Mass in St. Andrew’s, Westland Row for the National University of Ireland. 1 item
Copy letter from +McQuaid to +Levame in relation to the celebration of the 80th birthday of the Holy Father. As he was not aware the Solemn celebrations are to take place in Rome on 11 March, he suggests the Votive Mass should be held on either the 2 or 12 March. It would be quite difficult to do this at the Sunday Mass in the Pro Cathedral on the 11 as the masses are every half hour as so many people are in attendance. He could make St. Andrew’s, Westland Row available at 12 o’clock if necessary.
