The Archbishop expresses to Cardinal Cicognani, Secretary of State, his sense of anxiety at Fr. Hurley being chosen by the Secretariat for Promoting Christian Unity as a member of its delegation to a Methodist meeting in Stockholm. He does not command confidence as an exponent of Catholic doctrine according to McQuaid. The text of a laudatory lecture by Fr. Hurley on the Apostle Jesuit G. Tyrrell enclosed.
