Mount Argus; Farm: Garden: Produce: petition (probably a handwritten copy) to Pope Pius IX from Ignatius of the Infant Jesus, seeking a derogation, for the houses in the Anglo/Irish Province and particularly for the house in Dublin, from the provision in the Holy Rule that surplus produce from the gardens of each house must not be sold but given to the poor or benefactors. This derogation is necessary if the communities of the province are to survive. Attached to the petition is copy the grant of the requested permission
