Benelli to McQuaid stating that His Eminence, Cardinal Adeodato Piazza, Secretary of the Sacred Consistorial Congregation, following instructions from His Holiness, has dispensed Bishops from their ‘ad limina’ visits for 1952 and who attended the Proclamation of the Dogma of the Assumption in 1950. They will still have to forward their Quinquennial Reports.
