Letter from +Levame to +McQuaid informing him that a publication entitled ‘Crosi noi, che siamo molti, facciamo un corpo solo in Christo’, translated as ‘So we, who are many, form one body in Christ’. This claims that Catholic life in Czechoslovakia is continuing as normal and has abundant photographs to prove this. It is presumed it has been translated into many languages. The ‘Osservatore Romano’ of 22 October has stated the article is false. He wishes to know if a copy has been sent to +McQuaid.
