He has also contacted non-Catholic clergy. He also states that Dublin has already had a very ‘fruitful’ collection for Pakistan and does not feel it would be right to impose another collection on the Archdiocese. He suggests Friday 15th October as a fast day.

Copy letter from +McQuaid to +O’Hara with regard to the property bequested to the Bishop of Autun. In January, Mgr. Lebrun asked the +McQuaid to intervene with the Minister for Finance in securing the transfer of the sum of £1538. +McQuaid sought the legal advice of Richard Ryan of O’Hagan’s Solicitors. He has already given this information to the Nuncio.
