Copy letter from +McQuaid to +Sensi regarding the S.V.D. foundation at Donamon. There are questions regarding the building of churches by religious and +McQuaid states that in this case the foundation is a novitiate only and that the Superior is making a declaration of intention by saying he will not build a public church. Religious will not break their word and if they did change their minds, they would have to firstly get the approval of their Bishop and they also know they would loose all respect. The situation has never arisen in the Diocese of Dublin.
