This series concerns the history and administration of St. Michaels, Omeath in County Louth from its opening as a novitiate for the Institute of Charity to its time as a secondary school and its closure. A number of sub-series deal with the administrative running of the school including material concerning sources of income, correspondence regarding nearby properties owned and rented out by the Rosminian Order, the payment of wages to staff, and agreements regarding construction projects. Other sub-series relate to the daily lives of the priests and students who resided in the school including student records, diaries, applications from prospective novitiates, the sale of the property in 1988, and the activities of the Institute of Charity in Faughart Parish.
