Letter from +Mathew to +McQuaid stating he has been approached by Sir Thomas Molony, on behalf of the Provost of Trinity College, with regard to receiving an honorary degree. His family have close connections with the College and his grand-uncle Lord Justice Mathew received a Doctorate in Law. He will not take any action with the advice of the Archbishop and will not do anything to contrary to his Irish brethren.
