The series includes records relating to general missions, retreats and tridua given by the Capuchin friars to parishes, lay confraternities, sodalities and associations, working men’s clubs, and (particularly) religious congregations and societies. The series contains administrative records including mission lists, schedules and reports. A large assemblage of correspondence is also extant.

Announces his sending of a new GENERAL CATALOGUE; asks that any errors in it be notified; makes some rules as regards religious who leave their Province temporarily or permanently. Tells of the retirement of Fr. Sixtus from the job of recording Catalogue date, and the appointment of Fr. Stanislaus.
The sub-series includes research chronicling the life and temperance crusade of Fr. Theobald Mathew OSFC. Much of the research focuses on narratives of Fr. Mathew’s campaign.
