A photo album containing both black and white and coloured photographs of Presentation Convent Killarney and the Sisters. Includes photographs of the school, community photographs dating from 1950, the visit of President Eamon de Valera, the Bi-centenary celebrations in 1993, Sister’s jubilees, groups of Sisters on various outings.
A box of slides has also been included.
Also includes photographs of the first group of Sisters from Kerry diocese who went on mission to Dunedin, New Zealand in 1953 and Sisters who went on mission to Montclair and Upland, California in 1955 and 1959.
Presentation SistersThis series is divided into two files. The first file contains the personal photographs belonging to Brother Vincent Corcoran and includes images of his family and friends. The second file consists of photographs of the School for the Blind, Brother Jerome, and a trip taken with the blind boys.
This subseries includes a very large collection of photographic albums and prints that capture Irish Capuchin missionary activity in Zambia from the commencement of work in what was then Northern Rhodesia in 1931. The photographs can be used to reconstruct missionaries’ actions, trace the evolution of their work and their interactions with local inhabitants, and assess their impact as agents of western contact with African society. The photographic archive also offers an insight into indigenous political, social, and economic history in the areas where the Capuchin missionaries were active.

A collection of Kodak and Agfacolour 35mm colour slides depicting images of Presentation Sisters in Pakistan, particularly Sargodha. A number of slides have a handwritten number in pencil in the top right corner. These numbers correspond to an accompanying descriptive list.
