A group of Capuchin friars at Lukulu. The group includes Fr. Jarlath Gough OFM Cap., Fr. Timothy Phelim O’Shea OFM Cap., Fr. Christopher Crowley OFM Cap., Br. Alexius Paolucci OFM Cap. and three religious sisters.

Calendar of Irish Capuchin missionaries in Northern Rhodesia (now Zambia) and South Africa from 1929-38 giving details of where each friar was stationed and the time spent at each mission station. Includes a clipping of an article on the Irish Capuchin mission in Barotseland, Northern Rhodesia, taken from 'The Father Mathew Record'. The extract is extant on pp 42-5 in the volume compiled Fr. Albeus McQuillan OFM Cap. (1912-1989).

The consecration of Timothy Phelim O’Shea OFM Cap. as Vicar Apostolic of Livingstone at St. Mary of the Angels, Church Street, Dublin, on 8 Sept. 1950. A manuscript annotation on the reverse of the print reads 'The Papal Nuncio and Dr. William MacNeely, Bishop of Raphoe / Fathers Andrew and Brendan'.

A bound volume containing printed copies of block pulls for illustrations in 'The Capuchin Annual' and in 'The Father Mathew Record'. The images are numbered and (in some instances) dated. The volume includes many copies of the illustrations of Richard J. King (including St. Patrick and St. Brigid), and photographs of various Irish Capuchin friars including the Most Rev. Timothy Phelim O’Shea OFM Cap., Vicar Apostolic of Livingstone. The volume also includes several obituary articles (with image content) for Archbishop Sylvester Mulligan OFM Cap., and images of Fr. Senan Moynihan OFM Cap., Richard J. King, Aodh de Blacam, and missionary friars and buildings in Africa and in the United States. The volume also contains the following clippings:
