Mount Argus; Secular Dress:Letter from Provincial, Alphonsus O'Neill to Rector, concerning diversity in secular dress. Uniformity is to be introduced: suits made by a local tailor: 2md consultor to act as central point for obtainig same sort of material. Hats, overcoats etc., all come under the review. Alleluia at certain antiphons at night prsayers to be discontinued. At time of coronological computerisation, this item was missing.
Benedictine Abbots: Photo of meeting of Abbots OSB at Ebbfleet, Kent, where St. Augustine had landed 1300 years before. The Cross was erected to commemorate the event. Photo identified by Dom Martin Symonds OSB, Prior, Ramsgate Abbey on 9 August, 1973. This item has also been entered in the photohgraphic archive under the above serial number.

Patrick Fallon, C.P., Bishop of Kilfenora & Kilmacduagh:- Photocopy of the Obituary Notice in the "Masses For Our Dead Religious 1874-1895 (Liber Defunctorum Congregatinis Nostrae Religiosorum -Mass Suffrage Book pp 73-76 - located at ) and the offering of the prescribed suffrages for the repose of his soul. A typscript of the notice is interleaved with this photocopy. Also attached is a further and clearer typescript.

This recprd of Intermediate Chapters is entered at the reverse of the book containing record of clothing chapters for the same perioiod. Because of that the record of Intermediate Chapters has been given the same location and seroal number. .
