Handwritten letters from + Coholan, Bishop of Waterford, to + McQuaid asking for help in solving a problem. The secondary schools’ trade union, A.S.T.I., complained that the temporary contract of a teacher in the Presentation Convent violates the Agreement between the Association and the Head Superiors. In accordance with the spirit of the Agreement the union wants the teacher given a permanent contract. This was accepted. The National Committee for the Holy Year 1950
