Office copy power of attorney executed in Melbourne regarding property in Blackrock, Dublin, of Sydney [Sidney] Robert Burrowes. Also Declaration by James Andrew Christie Millar, living in Melbourne, Colony of Victoria, Australia. Alexander Burrowes of Ferensboro, County Longford, who was Sydney Robert's grandfather, left money and lands to his son, Thomas Robert Burrowes, father of Sydney Robert Burrowes. Now proceeds from the Blackrock property, also known as the Pilsworth Trust, is due. There is a lot of information on the role of the Burrowes family in relation to the Pilsworth Blackrock property.

White, 4 Usher’s Quay, solicitor, as attorney to execute a deed of assignment of their interest in the premises of 133-134 Church Street and 27 Bow street sold at auction by James H. North on 29 June 1879. With a similar deed of 2 Dec. 1880 whereby Elizabeth Corner (now of 153 Whiton Street, Jersey City), appoints Thomas J. White to act for her in all matters relating to the collection of purchase monies accruing from the said properties.

Aloysius (William) Travers OSFC (joint-owner and tenant) to execute deeds for, and receive rents for, certain fee simple, freehold and leasehold properties in Dublin. Fr. John declares that he is likely to be permanently resident in Tasmania. The deed is witnessed by Edgar William Lawrence, Launceston, Tasmania.

Povince: Foundations/Houses; Skehard: letter with PHOTOSTAT: BiSHOP Clancy of Elphinm Hishop's House, Sligo, to Fr. PHILIP Coughlin, CP, Provincial. General has rejected idea of no church, and this Bishop regrets. Thinks that Skahard would make excellent juniorate for a possible Irish Province. (place is as good as Esker (C.SS.R.) and tho' no church there'd be a lot of work.

A poster advertising Hamish Fraser’s lecture titled ‘From Communist to Catholic’ in the Mansion House in Dublin on 9 March 1952. Fraser was a Scottish communist who fought with the International Brigades during the Spanish Civil War. Following his conversion to Catholicism, he became a staunch anti-communist journalist.
