Fr. Bonaventure Mentic, C,P., who spoke sixteen languages, Gaelic being one of them. Fr. Bonaventure was a Hungarian' It was given to me, after Fr. Bonaventure'sdeath, by Monsigneur Doncet, C.P. - Oswald (Donnelly), C.P. I should mention that F. Bonaventure was a novice of F.Jerome Smith, at Ciplea, near Bucharest, Rumania.

Written on the recto of 9 leaves, it gives the text of Chapters 1-3 (inclusive down to par.11). The draft has various changes, which, when taken into account, gives the text of the printed (1876) edition of the "Rules and Constitutions"..
