Copy draft lease of Fr. Daniel Patrick O’Reilly OSFC and Fr. James Edward Tommins OSFC to Patrick Macken, grocer and wine merchant, of no. 48 North King Street, for 100 years at the yearly rent of £36. An annotation on title page reads: ‘approved of as altered on part of lessors, Terence O’Reilly, 9 Mar. 1874’.

Copy extract from the Register of Freeholders re ‘a right to pass and repass on foot and with horses or other animals … over parts of the lands of Cashelmore and Doocashel Glebe’ in County Donegal. It is noted that the Capuchin friars are the owners of these lands by a deed registered on 14 Jan. 1931.

Copy fee farm grant from Godwin Swift to Samuel Warren of a plot of ground on the west side of Cullenswood Avenue in Ranelagh, Dublin, for an annual farm rent of £100 and in consideration of 5s. The original deed is dated 18 November 1853. This copy is dated c.1908.

Copies (made by Michael Buggy, solicitor) of two fee farm grants by James Butler, 2nd Duke of Ormonde to Mary Pape of houses and premises on Walkin Street, Kilkenny, lately held by Alderman John Pape, deceased, in consideration of £24 13s 4d at the yearly rent of £6 3s 4d (9 Sept. 1705); and in consideration of £81 17s 0d at the yearly rent of £4 with ‘two fatt capons as accates or four shillings sterling per annum in lieu thereof’ (25 Sept. 1705). With a manuscript copy of the deed of 9 Sept. 1705.

Copy lease by Atwell Hayes, Cork, to Christopher Allen, Burgess, Cork, of ‘one field or meadow with a garden thereon situate and being in Friars Walk in the South Liberty of the said City of Cork containing 3 acres 2 roods 6 perches … and also 3 fields part of the lands of Curraconway containing 5 acres and twenty seven perches statue measure’, for 850 years at the yearly rent of £26 2s 4d. An annotation in the margin indicates that the aforementioned lot on Friars Walk was assigned to the Capuchin friars ‘and indemnified by the other lot against a greater rent of £70 10s 0d’.
