10-11 July 1946 Letter from +Robinson to +McQuaid enclosing a receipt for the sum of £16,164.12.6, in favour of the Holy Father’s Fund for Suffering Children, victims of war, which is being transmitted to Rome. He thanks the Archbishop for his personal contribution of £1000 and also acknowledges the role McQuaid has taken in ensuring a national collection was undertaken. He has informed the Holy Father of this.
