Lebrun asked the +McQuaid to intervene with the Minister for Finance in securing the transfer of the sum of £1538. +McQuaid sought the legal advice of Richard Ryan of O’Hagan’s Solicitors. He has already given this information to the Nuncio.

Richard Glennon, Vicar General, give advice. Bishop Dunne is reticent. Permission granted for Vicariate and scholasticate. Property acquired at Hazelbrook, Malahide. [Glennon was a former student of the Irish College, Salamanca].
