Correspondence between Count F. du Chastel, Belgium Minister, and +McQuaid regarding the singing of a TE DEUM on the occasion of the accession to the Throne of Belgium by His Majesty King Baudouin I, the last Catholic king to reign. +McQuaid has pleasure in permitting the ceremony.
Letter from +O’Hara to +McQuaid regarding broadcasts from Radio Moscow which are being ‘…beamed towards this country’. They are not very audible and he encloses a copy of one of the last transmissions to give an idea of their propaganda. Few people seem aware of the broadcasts and he asks +McQuaid to look for any signs that an interest is being taken in them by the Irish people.
