John and Paul, Rome: Translation of letter from the General, Dominic of the Name of Mary, to all memebrs of the Congregation: orders the dedication of the whole congregation to the Sacre Heart of Jesus on 1 November in order to avoid the supression of our head house in Rome, as has been threatened.

Paul Mary Pakenham: Rector of Mount Argus : Letter written by Paul Mary, from Mrs. Dolan's house at 31 Mount Pleasant, Rathmines, to Osmond Maguire, St. Anne's, Sutton, requesting him to send on the chest containing the Mass kit that used to be at St. Wilfred's. He hopes to say Mass in Mount Argus "tomorrow", 15th August. (See 2/2/5/1 for details of the discovery of this letter)

Patrick Fallon, C.P., Bishop of Kilfenora & Kilmacduagh:- Typed extract from Annals of the Anglo-Hibernian Province vol III for 14 November, 1873, (located at 28/6) in which Salvian Nardocci refers to the clothing and profession of Dr. Fallon. Two footnotes have been added explaining how Salvian came to make this entry and drawing attention to Declan O'Sullivan's observations concerning the "order from the Holy See" (see 1-6-5-13 & 14).
