Patrick Fallon, C.P., Bishop of Kilfenora & Kilmacduagh:- Typescript of entry by Salvian in the Platea (1880 - 1888 ) concerning the death of Simon Mannion who had been Bishop Fallon's man-servant and afterwards continued to serve the Congregation both in Mount Argus and Ardoyne. Also attached is a typescript of Salvian's entry on the matter in his personal diary.

Joseph and dated 03/12/1877, authorising the clothing and burial of the Bishop's body in the Passionist habit. (The original of this document is to be found between pp 226 & 227 of Vol III of The Annals of the Anglo Hibernian Province located at 28/6 and a translation of it, done by Osmund Slevin, is at 1-3-7-18.)

Patrick Fallon, C.P., Bishop of Kilfenora & Kilmacduagh:- Photocopy of document dated 09/12/1877 from John Baptist Aquassi, Secretary of the Congregation de Propaganda Fidei, submitted to Pope Pius IX requesting that Bishop Fallon be clothed and professed as a Passionist "at the point of death". Also appended to the document is the certification of the Secretary that the Pope had deigned to grant this request. (The original document is to be found between pp 226 &227 of Vol III of The Annals of the Anglo Hibernan Province, located at 28/6, typed copy at 1-3-7-19 and translation at 1-3-7-20.)

Patrick Fallon, C.P., Bishop of Kilfenora & Kilmacduagh - Clothing, Profession and Death:- typed copy of entry from vol III of rhe Annals of the Anglo-Hibernian Province, pp 225-227, located at 28/6, recording the bishop's final illness, clothing, profession and the death . Appended are observations drawing attention to the conflict of dates of death and to the possibility that Salvian Nardocci was the Bishop's confessor who requested the privilege of clothing for him. Also noted is the fact that the documents from the General and Secretary of Propoganda Fide concerning the clothing and profession are attached to this entry in vol III of the Annals. (The vol of the annals is located at 28/6).

Patrick Fallon, C.P., Bishop of Kilfenora & Kilmacduagh:- Press cutting (possibly from Irish Independent, no date but evidently during the reign of Pope John XXIII) concerning the Diocese of Kilfenora which was once part of Bishop Fallon's Dioceses - Kilfenora and Kilmacduagh, pointing out that the Pope is Bishop of Kilfenora, which for administrative purposes is linked with the Dioceses of Galway and Kilmacduagh, the Bishop of Galway being Apostolic Administrator. It is the only such diocese in Ireland.

located at ) and the offering of the prescribed suffrages for the repose of his soul. A typscript of the notice is interleaved with this photocopy. Also attached is a further and clearer typescript.
