Your Grace my dear Archbishop
Mother Alice Mary and I came to
St. Josephs on July 12 and after the
visit of our Archbishop from home
Mother left for Kerry to see her
mothers people She returned again
on Saturday and we are settling
down to happy Community life.
It is a drastic change for Mother
after a Community of sixty Sisters
and over five hundred patients
However He Who called her to Ire-
nd will give all the graces
necessary for the work ahead of
her I know
Perhaps you expected me to write
Your Grace again telling of our arrival
I am sorry if I am at fault and
hope that you will see Mother as I
know she is most anxious to meet
you,. Perhaps you have been very
busy and could not arrange an
interview
Your Fatherly kindness toward me
these years past is a topic familiar
r Mother Alice Mary and she is look-
ing forward to seeing you.
Our workmen are on holidays but
I am pleased with what has been
done up to the present. Magnificat.
The night watchman came down
to us last evening about five o clock
to tell us that St Joseph had left
the premises. The statue which was
installed in the building is gone.
I hope it has no significance. You
have been our St. Joseph
,
I hope your Grace is well
with every kind personal wish and
a remembrance always before our Lord
I beg to remain my dear Archbishop,
