This sub-fond is divided into seven files and one item and primarily contains the early history of the Tertiary Carmelite Order. The first item is a ledger which contains the laws and rules that the Order is to follow and details several of the earliest professions of Carmelite Brothers. The files contain a copy of a transfer of obedience of the Order to the Archbishop of Dublin, more vows of profession, correspondence regarding a trip to Rome by two brothers about the constitution of the Order, a sermon by Thomas N. Burke, rule books of various religious Orders and letters of the Archbishop William J. Walsh

Carmelite Tertiaries - Drumcondra and Clondalkin

This Fond consists of material relating to the Tertiary Carmelite Brothers of Clondalkin and Drumcondra. It is subdivided into two sub-fonds, the first of which primarily concerns the organisation of the Order, it’s laws and professions of vows and material written about its early history and publications about the Order.

The second sub-fond contains personal material belonging to Brother Vincent Corcoran to was head of the Order and primarily consists of his diaries, several artefacts, photographs, and publications regarding the Carmelites
