The second volume also contains an index for 'Eirigh' from January (Vol. 60, No. 1) to May 1969 (Vol. 61, No. 4). The indexes were possibly compiled by Fr. Benedict Cullen OFM Cap.

Articles of Agreement re St. Enda’s School

Counterpart agreement between Patrick Pearse, Emily MacCarthy, and the Intermediate Board of Education regarding St. Enda’s School. Pearse is referred to as the ‘owner and manager’ of St Enda’s School. The agreement refers to the provision of ‘equipment and appliances for the practical teaching of The Natural and Experimental Sciences’. The document is signed by Patrick Pearse and the other parties to the agreement. The seal of the Board of Education is fixed to the document. Includes a schedule of payments to be made to the Intermediate Board of Education.

Articles of contract for construction of High Altar

Articles of contract of Fr. Cherubini Mazzini OSFC, Queen Street, with Joseph O’Reilly, 4 Anglesea Street, Cork, sculptor, for the work on the High Altar to be erected in Holy Trinity Church, Charlotte Quay, Cork. The contract refers to certain stipulations and conditions including the superintendence of Fr. Caesar Pascal OSFC over the work. The specification for the work is annexed to the contract which is to be completed for the total cost of £169. The specification outlines the design, ornamentation and materials to be used in the construction of the new altar. It also includes two small line drawings of the finials, designed by P.J. Scannell, 14 Douglas Street, which will support some of the statutes surrounding the altar.
