Letter from +Ryan to +McQuaid thanking him for his correspondence and recent visit. He is delighted he has reprinted his teachings on contraceptives. He also thanks him for the Mater Dei prospectus. He had a visit from Dr. John Kelly of Indiana who is deeply involved in the anti-abortion drive in Chicago and New York. He hopes to lecture on this subject in both Cork and Dublin. He mentions a group of ‘counsellors’ in UCD who are providing information to pregnant girls on travelling to the UK for abortions. He suggests that one of the chaplains may be able to find out about this. Venezuela
