Daniel Collier, St. Kieran’s College, Kilkenny, + McQuaid, and + Peter Birch regarding the visit to Ossory of Fr. Bernard Haring, C.SS.R. Fr. Haring was a leading signatory among 87 theologians in America who protested against the Encyclical Humae Vitae. Due to opposition Fr. Haring wrote to + Birch and offered to withdraw.
