Superior Gemeral; Prelini, C.P. Bernard:Decree from the Sacred Congregation of Bishops and Regulars to all memebrs of the Congregation. As a result of a secret ballot, ordered by the Pope following the resignation of Fr. Dominic of the Name of Mary, the Pope (Pius IX) appoints Fr. Bernard of St. Joseph as General and makes other appointments to the other General office. Translation of the decree is attached.
