The article appeared in the first number of ‘Zeitschrift für celtische Philologie’, a periodical founded in 1897 by Kuno Meyer and Ludwig Christian Stern. A manuscript annotation on the first reads ‘To his brother with the writer’s compliments’.

The second illustration shows a house on Marrowbone Lane; a street located off Cork Street on the south side of Dublin. The clipping was taken from the ‘Evening Telegraph’ (5 December 1898).
