Louis gives details of Austin's early family times, but does not quote his sources. The rest of the information comes in the main from Fr. Salvian Nardocci's records .

Ignatius Paoli, C.P., Archbishop of Bucharest, Ordinariat Cathoiique, Valachia: letter from him to Fr. Salvian Nardocci' Text is transcribed in Salvian's Annals. He corrects Salvian: it is Valachia, not Bulgaria - it as bad as writing London, Scotland.

1846034 Bl. Charles Houben - Life:- seems to be notes prepared on Bl. Charles, principally on how he came to know about the Passionists and their form of life.

Blessed Charles - Lives: - The Life Of Father Charles by Austin Bonner, C.P. Published Dublin 1893. Our late esteemed Archivist, Declan O'Sullivan has added a note to the title page which reads as follows: "For who was the actual author, see Nova Positio Super Vietutibus, P. Caroli, 1972 Part III". The actual author was Columban Tyne.

1846034 Bl. Charles Houben - Life:- copy of article published in February, 1893, less than a month after the death of Fr. Charles. Unfortunately, the title of the publication is not distingushable.

Bl. Charles Houben - Life:- this is in fact a letter, written on 3 postcards forty years after Charles's death, taking issue with a statement that had been made to the effect that the memory of Charles seems to have been forgotten. The writer is not identifiable
