Francis Hayes OFM Cap., and Fr. Eugene Carroll OFM Cap. The individual in the mayoral robes is Seán French, Lord Mayor of Cork. It is likely that the photograph was taken in May 1934 when an address from the citizens of Cork was presented to Pope Pius XI in honour of the papal holy year.
