A view of two Capuchin friars taking a break from an excursion on a jaunting car near Rochestown in County Cork in c.1908. The two friars may be Fr. Jarlath Hynes OFM Cap. (1867-1918) and Fr. Casimir Butler OFM Cap. (1876-1958).

An image of the first group of students at the Seraphic School in Rochestown, County Cork, in 1886. The individuals in the image include Fr. Matthew O'Connor OFM Cap., Guardian, Br. Leonard Brophy OFM Cap., Benedict MacDonald, and John Hayden (later Fr. Augustine Hayden OFM Cap.). Most of the individuals in the photograph (including Br. Canice Rice, Br. Jarlath Hynes, Br. Bonaventure Halvey and Br. Finbarr Sullivan) would go on to become solemnly-professed Capuchin friars.

Some of the photographic prints show the attendance of Capuchin friars at the funerals including Fr. Jarlath Hynes OSFC, Fr. Paul Neary OSFC, Fr. John Butler OSFC and Fr. Thomas Dowling OSFC. The file includes cuttings from the 'Evening Telegraph', 'Irish Independent', 'Daily Sketch', and 'Freeman’s Journal'.
