An image of a group of Capuchin friars in Kilkenny. An annotation on the cover indicates that (seated, second from the right) Fr. Camillus Killian OFM Cap. (1872-1941) was the house superior. Fr. Killian was superior in Kilkenny from 1907-10. Other friars in the group include:

A photographic print of Fr. Dominic O’Connor OFM Cap. among a large crowed at a public event. No information in relation to either the date or the location of the event is given, but it was likely in Cork. The central figure addressing the crowd may be Tomás MacCurtain, Lord Mayor of Cork.

The file comprises copies of an interview with Daniel Mannix, Archbishop of Melbourne. The title heading reads ‘The following document, in the handwriting of Father Welch, now a Novine in the Capuchin Friary Novitiate, Kilkenny, … given to V. Rev. Fr. Sylvester [Mulligan], Minister Provincial, and by him deposited in the Provincial Archives, Dublin, in April 1926’. The document refers to the ‘high terms’ in which Archbishop Mannix spoke of both Fr. Dominic O’Connor OFM Cap. and Fr. Albert Bibby OFM Cap. The file also includes a photographic print of Archbishop Mannix and other bishops.

A copy of the ‘Evening Telegraph’ (29 October 1920). The edition includes extensive reports on the death (and funeral arrangements) of Terence MacSwiney. Reference is made to the ministrations of Fr. Dominic O’Connor OFM Cap. to MacSwiney.

Letter from Fr. Albert Bibby [to Fr. Bonaventure Murphy OFM Cap.] referring to arrangements for sailing on the 'Republic' steamship from Cobh on 20 June. He also refers to his meeting in Goresbridge with Angela Cook, ‘a niece of Mrs McCurtain’, who is keen on joining a congregation of nuns. He concludes by stating that he has had a letter from Fr. Dominic O’Connor OFM Cap. who is in ill-health.
