Occasional reference is made to attendant events. On 7 Sept. 1913 it was noted that ‘there was an office for the dead in the Church for the people killed by the falling houses in Church Street’. The entries for Easter Week 1916 simply read ‘Rising’, and later ‘in [South Dublin] Union, Rising’.
