Joyce (better known by his nickname ‘Lord Haw-Haw’) was an American-born fascist sympathiser, anti-Semite, and Nazi propagandist during the Second World War.

Reference is also made to the execution of Constable William Mitchell, who was convicted of the murder of Robert Dixon, a magistrate who was killed during a robbery at his home in Dunlavin in County Wicklow. The journal appears to have used later as a register book for members, and as a sales book for a film screening in the Hall.
An account of ‘expenditure at chapel from Saturday 9th to Friday 15th November 1833’. The account gives the names of masons, carpenters, labourers, quarrymen, stonecutters, plasters, watchmen and other workmen involved in the construction, in addition to the number of days worked and their wages. Total expenditure is noted as £107 19s 5d.
