Yeats refers to the reproductions of his work in the publication which he describes as ‘wonderfully successful’. He adds ‘I would like to thank whoever was so good natured as to put in a photograph of me in my youth’.

She wrote ‘the great Irish sculptor died in Youghal in [the] beginning of 1925. I saw him a few days before his death. He died of consumption’. She also refers to Higgins’s son-in-law Seamus Murphy.
