The items were handed over to the state at a reception at Áras an Uachtaráin in Dublin. The image (right) shows Áine Ceannt and Margaret Mary Pearse examining a revolver which belonged to Constance Markievicz. The clippings are most likely taken from the 'Irish Independent' (30 April 1948).
