Matthew O’Connor OSFC to John Slater of a dwelling currently vacant but lately held by Miss Moore on Walkin Street at the yearly rent of £16 (20 May 1896); Administration (9 May 1950) of the will of John Slater (d. 5 Aug. 1945); Assignment from Annie Slater to her grandson John Slater of her interest in 47 Walkin Street which she holds as a yearly tenant from the Capuchin Friars at the annual rent of £16 (18 Oct. 1950); Search in the Registry of Deeds for documents of title relating to John Slater affecting properties on Walkin Street (3 Feb. 1953); Assignment of John Slater to Fr. Assignment from Mary Deegan, Walkin Street, to Fr. Patrick Ignatius Collins OFM Cap. and Fr. Denis Thaddeus Field OFM Cap., Capuchin Friary, Kilkenny, of a dwelling house and premises situated on Walkin Street. The deed recites that Kate Horner (died 17 Aug. 1933) was possessed of premises on Walkin Street held on a monthly or weekly tenancy from the Corporation of Kilkenny. Mary Deegan, as Kate Horner’s executrix, agrees to sell the deceased’s interest in the premises subject to the payment of rent and the performance of the tenant’s obligations for £100. With copy memoranda of agreement and copy probate of Mary Kate Horner dated 10 Oct. 1933.

The property is to be vested in the FMC Trust to benefit the charitable functions of the Capuchin Order in Kilkenny.
