Zonder titelA typescript book which was written and bound for Desmond Ashbrook by his son-in-law and daughter, Charles and Jane Foster. The volume traces the genealogy of the Flower Family of Castle Durrow in the 17th Century. An inscription inside the cover states that the book was passed on to Presentation Convent Durrow in June 1984. Also includes a leaflet for Arley Hall and Gardens, the ancestral home of the Hon. Michael and Mrs. Flower.
Zonder titelA diary for the year 1923 which contains entries relating to baptisms, deaths, purchases for the convent, building works and salaries paid. The diary also contains lists of addresses and contributions. The diary continued to be used for recording information until January 1960. Loose material within the diary comprised a leaflet on Jesuit Missions, an Examination in Religious Knowledge paper, notes on the death of Presentation Sisters, newspaper clippings, addresses, an employee reference letter, receipts and accounting notes.
