Nicholas Murphy OSFC stating that the bill was presented when Delany ‘had finished the entire convent. On entering into details and then striking a balance [and] alterations being noted Mr. Delany’s bill came down to £1,662’.

With a letter from Michael Buggy & Co., solicitors, Parliament Street, re £50 left by Esther White, deceased, ‘for the benefit of the Poor people occupying the Alms House in Walkin Street …’.

Bonaventure Murphy OFM Cap., guardian, enclosing a copy of the will of Margaret Carthy (d. 6 Mar. 1940) in which she leaves the sum of £5 for masses to be said for the repose of her soul. The solicitors assert that ‘there are not sufficient assets to meet any of the legacies contained in the will of deceased, as all available monies will go towards paying her funeral expenses …’.
