In particular he objects to the mode of collecting funds for the new church, i.e., a memorial to Fr. Pacificus. Asks that these appeals be discontinnued.

Mount Argus: Confraternity - Men.s Branch - Habited Branch Minute book of a young men's society based on the observance by the members individually of the rules and constitutions of the Confraternity of the Cross and Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ. The members were, evidentrly, the younger members of the Confraternity. Lectures on religious topics were given at some weekly meetings. Internal evidence shows that this association eventually became the habited branch of the Confraternity, the first clothing taking place on 14.10.1873, vide p. 58.
