Spencer, Ignatius, C. P: CATHOLIC APOSTOLATE; Handwritten letter from Princess Marie Stuart d'Albanie, Presburg (Hungary) to Ignatius. Details the story of her Aunt, a non-Catholic, and Ignatius's campaign for prayers for conversion of England. Details of the aunt's death as a Catholic. Also contains a brief note written by Salvian Nardocci about the letter. Photocopy of this letter was sent by Declan O'Sulliven, C.P., to an enquirer on behalf of a descendent of Fr. Ignatius. Spencer, Ignatius, C. P: CATHOLIC APOSTOLATE; Copy of letter from Rev. George Spencer, Westbromwich, to Mgr. Acton, Rome. In answer to request he says what he thinks of the position of the Church in England, and what should be done. Towards the end of this long letter he mentions the CPs. Mentions Phillipps has a chapel he would hand over and a house that would take 6 religious.
Spencer, Ignatius, C. P: CATHOLIC APOSTOLATE; Photocopy of letter from Robert Monteith, Carstairs House, Lanarkshire to Ignatius. He states that the proposed time of Ignatius's visit is acceptable. [In 1976, the original was in the posession of Sylvester Palmer, in Broadway.] This is most likely the arrangement for the visit by Ignatius to the Monteith's on O1 October, 1864. He died suddenly while travelling to make the visit.

Spencer, C.P., Ignatius: DEATH: The lining from the top hat he was wearing when he collapsed and died on his way to visit his friend Montheit at Carstairs, Scotland on 1 October, 1864. It is on display in one of the cases in the Blessed Charles Museum.
