It is the first draft of petition for permission to build the church at Ardoyne at CP expense. This is the document referred to in letter located under serial number 1992, and contains the addition drafted by Fr. Thomas, Consultor General.

Says he asked for a catalogue of the privileges of the Passionists so that he could compare it with the agreement reached between them and his predecessor. Complains that unsigned letters in the press and a complaint made privately to Rome were hostile acts towards him. Repeats that Vincent bagan the row. Justifies his refusal to allow increase in the number of priest with faculties. Insists on maintaining the original agreement between the Passionists and his predecessor.
